The bus driver plays a very important role in this business
and the company ensures that the drivers are thoroughly trained
to handle needs of customers. Tracking System has been introduced
to regularly monitor the movement of vehicles to keep up the
timing and safety of the vehicles. Customer's complaints are
monitored at once and strict disciplinary action being taken
on erring drivers and employees. This is unavoidable as the
credibility of the company depends totally on the behavior
of the employees. However, such disciplinary action has helped
to improve the service.
Dr. KPN said he believed that one satisfied customer would
bring 2 new customers but the company would lose 10 potential
customers because of one dissatisfied customer. KPN's recent
foray is into Speed Parcel Service. The Company was initially
using its own buses for transporting goods to various destinations.
As there was growing demand, the company also started Speed
Parcel Service Private Limited which covers in Tamilnadu.
Pondy, Kerala,Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The company has
large fleet of LCV's and vans transporting more than 20,000
packets every day.
